Job Summary
Vice President in Infrastructure and Utilities Investment Banking focusing on renewables and power in Australia. Collaborate with senior bankers to originate, structure, and execute advisory transactions across M&A, equity capital markets, and debt capital markets, with a focus on renewables and power assets. Act as the primary day-to-day client contact for Australian deals, while engaging in global cross-border transactions. Develop impactful marketing materials and leverage qualitative and numerical analysis to maximize client engagement and ensure best-in-class transaction execution. Coordinate with internal teams across products and countries, and with external parties such as clients, lawyers, accountants, and consultants to ensure seamless delivery of complex renewables and power transactions. Advise clients on integrated financial solutions, including equity capital raising (listed and unlisted), bond issuance, senior and subordinated lending, and derivatives, with emphasis on renewables and power sector financing. Provide timely market insights and strategic observations with a deep understanding of renewables and power sector trends.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in investment banking or investment management with a focus on traditional or emerging infrastructure, and demonstrable expertise in renewables and power
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or adjacent disciplines (Law, Engineering / STEM)
- Proven transaction experience and proficiency with industry trends, especially in renewables, power generation, and broader infrastructure
- Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively within teams
- Strong financial modelling background with infrastructure or other real assets, ideally including renewables and power
- Ability to interact comfortably with business clients and management, demonstrating strong business acumen and a proven track record in developing and maintaining relationships
