Job Summary
Senior Investment Banking VP specializing in real estate, lodging, gaming and homebuilding sectors. Lead high-impact transactions across M&A and equity/debt capital raises; oversee detailed financial models, prepare presentations and internal memos, and refine marketing/execution materials for client impact. Identify and manage deal risks, liaise with lawyers, accountants and counterparties, and collaborate with senior bankers on market trends and strategic financial solutions. Prospect and manage client relationships, mentor analysts/associates, and demonstrate strong Excel modeling, valuation and communication skills to support fast-paced, client-focused banking engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Prior work experience in an investment banking front office role.
- Experience in training junior bankers
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey financial concepts clearly
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills including Excel modeling and valuation
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to manage projects independently and take responsibility as part of a team
- Professional client interaction skills
