Job Summary
Ratings Advisory Analyst in Investment Banking supports senior bankers on deals, drives deal execution and client interactions, drafts and refines marketing/execution materials, builds financial and rating agency models, coordinates analytic work to push processes forward, identifies and manages deal risks, and liaises with lawyers, accountants, and counterparties while staying informed on market and rating agency dynamics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance and/or related major
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in a credit rating agency, ratings advisory, investment banking front office, credit risk or related role
- Experience with credit rating agency methodologies
- Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills
- Understanding of the transaction cycle and is execution oriented
- Impeccable communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other line of business
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, and have the aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and to develop innovative solutions
- Adaptability, able to manage projects independently and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team
