Job Summary
Analyst in M&A executes transactions and supports due diligence, document preparation, negotiation, and liaison with clients and advisers. You will build and use complex financial models, perform valuation and analytical analyses, and draft presentation materials for use in M&A and capital markets transactions. You will work with product and sector teams, stay updated on market developments, and develop knowledge of the target client base and market dynamics. Requirements include 1+ years of relevant front-office experience in investment banking or a related due-diligence role, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance and/or related field, strong accounting/finance/quantitative and business writing skills, and the ability to interact effectively with senior professionals and stakeholders; must be self-directed and able to work independently.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance and/or related field
- 1+ years prior work experience in an investment banking front office role
- in a relevant role at a top tier consulting firm (financial, commercial, or operational due diligence)
- Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills
- Impeccable communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other line of business
