Job Summary
Vice President in Leveraged Finance acts as the primary day-to-day client point of contact on capital markets transactions; leads junior bankers and coordinates analytic work to advance marketing/execution; refines marketing/execution materials for maximum client impact; oversees the creation of financial projection models; identifies and manages all risks in deals; liaises with lawyers, accountants, and counterparties; demonstrates strong written/verbal communication, advanced quantitative/analytical skills (including Excel modeling and valuation), ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, independently manages projects, and maintains professional client interaction; possesses a deep understanding of financial, legal and reputational risks facing large integrated investment banks in today’s environment.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Leveraged Finance (front office)
- Bachelors degree in related field
- Experience training junior bankers
