Job Summary
Senior VP in Leveraged Finance leading client relationships on capital markets transactions across a spectrum of banking products (M&A, divestitures, restructurings, loans, and capital raises). Acts as primary day-to-day client point of contact and lead banker; reviews junior bankers' analytic work; refines marketing/execution materials; oversees creation of financial projection models; identifies and manages risks; liaises with lawyers, accountants, and counterparties.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Leveraged Finance (front office)
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Experience training junior bankers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate concepts concisely
- Very strong quantitative and analytical skills including Excel modeling and valuation
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines; synthesize large amounts of information and develop solutions
- Adaptability; manage projects independently and take responsibility as a team member
- Ability to interact with clients professionally and maturely
- Strong understanding of financial, legal and reputational risks facing large integrated investment banks
