Job Summary
Analyst in Leveraged Finance at JPMorgan focusing on analyzing and identifying optimal and marketable capital structure solutions for clients. Responsibilities include performing financial modeling and statement analysis, evaluating cash flow and asset-based debt capacity, preparing term sheets and marketing materials, coordinating across internal and external teams, conducting due diligence, preparing client/investor presentations, and reviewing analysts’ financial models. Strong emphasis on quantitative/analytical skills, teamwork, communication, organization, and presenting to senior management and investors. Location: New York, NY, United States. This role emphasizes collaboration with coverage, credit, legal, and client teams to support high-value capital market transactions in leveraged loans and high yield bonds.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in Investment Banking, Credit Risk, Big Four experience or related field
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information and help develop innovative client solutions
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Well organized and able to efficiently manage projects with minimal supervision
- Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet time sensitive deadlines
- Excellent presentation skills; comfortable presenting to client senior management, investors and senior members of the firm
