Job Summary
Investment Banking Intern role in Canton, MA with remote-work flexibility. Responsibilities include revenue recognition analysis, EBITDA analysis, net working capital analysis, AR/AP analysis, gross profit margin analysis, revenue proof, identifying income statement fluctuations, cash-to-accrual conversions, payroll reconciliations, and reconciliation of financial statements. Also involved in audits/reviews to internal statements, tax return analysis, inventory analysis, top customer/vendor analysis, company and industry-wide research, data import/formatting for large financial data sets, managing the data room for due diligence engagements, assisting in creating the due diligence data book (Excel) and reports (PowerPoint), attending networking events at energy trade shows, and preparing confidential memorandums for companies up for sale. The role emphasizes teamwork, strong verbal/written communication, Excel/PowerPoint proficiency, attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive, professional work ethic.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or data analytics preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and graphs) and Power Point
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to adjust schedule based upon peak workload times in the department
