Job Summary
Vice President in Healthcare Investment Banking to lead execution of complex transactions across healthcare and life sciences, including acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, recapitalizations, defenses against unsolicited takeover attempts, strategic advisory assignments and executions of public offerings (IPO) and private capital markets transactions. You will work with regional and international clients, collaborating with senior professionals to deliver high-quality advice. The role emphasizes superior valuation skills, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to read and interpret financial statements, with a strong motivation and ability to work under tight deadlines. A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA is an asset. Licensing may be required or pursued as part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA would be an asset
- 6+ years of experience in investment banking, or 3+ years with an MBA
- Experience on complex executed deals; strong valuation skills; reading and interpreting financial statements; strong written and verbal communication
- Commercial instinct and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in investment banking (or 3+ years with an MBA) and a proven track record on complex deals
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA considered an asset
- Series licensing or ability to obtain licensing
