Job Summary
Associate in the Financial Institutions Group within Banks, participating in the full cycle of transactional execution including preparing marketing pitches, reviewing and formulating financial analyses, preparing internal committee memoranda and client presentations. The role involves leading the execution function, working with analysts and associates, mentoring junior bankers, contributing to graduate recruiting, and collaborating with a broader team to be involved real-time in transactions with opportunities for frequent travel across M&A and capital markets activities. Key duties include developing content for strategic client meetings, guiding valuation analyses (DCF, trading and transaction comparables, and LBO analyses), and providing leadership and supervision to junior team members.
Required Qualifications
- Prior work experience in an investment banking front office role.
- A well-rounded academic background from a top tier educational institution.
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Understands transaction cycle and the steps in the process and is execution oriented.
- Impeccable communication details with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other line of business.
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
