Job Summary
The Investment Banking Experienced Analyst at William Blair will execute in-depth analyses supporting new business development, transaction execution, and the delivery of investment banking products. Responsibilities include performing exhaustive financial/valuation analyses for mergers and acquisitions, building financial models, conducting due diligence on live transactions, drafting management presentations, and preparing marketing materials. The role requires mentoring interns and less experienced analysts while developing a thorough understanding of macro factors impacting the client's industry. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree and have prior investment banking experience, along with strong analytical skills, financial modeling proficiency, and the ability to handle multiple projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Prior investment banking experience required; previous experience as an Analyst, or equivalent, strongly preferred
- Proven track record in university studies required
Desired Qualifications
- SIE Exam, Series 79, and Series 63 must be acquired within 150 days of employment
- Detail oriented with strong analytical abilities
