Job Summary
Associate in the EMEA Media & Communications Advisory team within Investment Banking in London. Responsibilities include performing valuation analyses (DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO analysis), supporting daily deal execution and project management of clients, performing transaction structuring analyses, preparing presentation books and materials for corporate finance transactions, interacting with senior team members and client management to execute transactions, and providing leadership and supervision to Analysts. Requires proven Investment Bank or Corporate Finance experience, ability to interact with clients professionally, strong financial modelling/valuation and analytical skills, ability to work under pressure, commitment to teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task with independent project management. Role involves regulatory requirements related to fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence.
Required Qualifications
- Proven Investment Bank or leading Corporate Finance experience, ideally within the Media, Telecoms and/or digital infrastructure sectors
- Demonstrate ability to interact with clients and people in a professional and mature manner
- Proficient financial modelling/valuation and analytical/numeracy skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Comfort in and commitment to teamwork environment
- High level of attention to detail and time management
- Highly motivated, adaptable, able to multi-task and manage project independently
