Job Summary
Senior Vice President in the EMEA Infrastructure M&A team based in London. Responsible for originating and executing complex infrastructure-focused M&A transactions, leading from the front with senior client contact, and driving deal responsibility across workstreams. Key duties include sourcing sell-side opportunities with infrastructure funds and asset managers, leading end-to-end M&A execution (public and private, including carve-outs and buy-sides), guiding clients through strategy and negotiations, coordinating with Funds Coverage, sector and product teams, overseeing due diligence and presentation materials, and mentoring junior bankers while managing risk across the deal life cycle. Requires 6+ years of investment banking M&A experience, strong modelling and valuation capabilities, excellent communication, and a leadership style that develops junior talent; proficiency in MS Office and Bloomberg is preferred. London-based role with emphasis on the EMEA market.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of investment banking M&A experience with a track record of leading transactions
- Strong M&A skillset to source and run complex processes with multiple stakeholders
- Negotiation experience on transactions and familiarity with legal documentation
- Outstanding financial analysis and modelling capability; experience overseeing valuation workstreams
- Self-directed, motivated with strong project management and attention to detail; ability to deliver under pressure
- Collaborative, inclusive leadership style and experience developing junior talent
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong client-facing presence
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Bloomberg experience preferred
- Familiarity with the infrastructure sector is beneficial but not prerequisite; understanding of investment banking products and client interaction preferred
