Job Summary
Investment Banking Analyst in the Center for Carbon Transition supporting net-zero financing strategies, green finance opportunities, and sector/portfolio analytics to inform strategic decision-making. Collaborate with energy-transition engagements (e.g., powering data centers, geothermal/nuclear energy, carbon capture), develop high-quality analysis and client-facing content (market updates, senior management presentations), stay informed on market dynamics and policy opportunities, and contribute to sustainability initiatives within a leading global investment bank.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1+ years prior work experience in an investment banking front office or related role
- Demonstrated interest in energy, climate and decarbonization themes
- Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills
- Understanding of the transaction cycle and the steps in the process
- Execution oriented
- Impeccable communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other line of business
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
