Job Summary
Associate in Business Services Investment Banking, focused on financial analysis and modeling, managing a team, and preparing client presentations. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting senior team members in origination activities such as analyzing mergers and acquisitions, conducting public & private valuation analyses, and developing industry-content insights; participating in execution activities across M&A, debt, and equity processes; building valuation models based on financial research and analysis including comparable company analysis, discounted cash flow, and comparable acquisitions analysis; working directly with large-cap corporate, middle-market, and founder-owned clients to execute on strategic objectives; supporting broader sponsor coverage efforts and quarterly/annual business planning; and conducting strategic advisory analyses and portfolio and diligence data synthesis.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of investment banking Coverage or M&A experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, mathematics or a related field
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Proven team player who can interact with a wide variety of internal groups and clients
- Strong multitasking and communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office suite (Excel and PowerPoint) and financial reporting skills
