Investment Banking Associate – Supply Chain & Logistics

Job Summary
Organize, review, and analyze due diligence processes and materials while developing valuation analyses and models including projections, LBO, and DCF. Prepare comprehensive pitchbooks, information memoranda, management presentations, and marketing materials. Compile prospective acquirer and investor lists, contact stakeholders, and perform key steps in the transaction execution process. Support senior bankers in establishing relationships with current and prospective clients, as well as training and mentoring new hires. Work four days per week at an MUFG office or client sites with one remote day. Candidates must hold SIE and Series 79 and 63 licenses. Intrepid Investment Bankers, the middle-market advisory arm of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, specializes in M&A and capital-raising services for supply chain and logistics sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years sellside M&A advisory and investment banking experience with record of completed transactions from pitch to close
- Demonstrated knowledge of completed transactions from pitch to close in various supply chain & logistics sectors
- Outstanding academic credentials from a top tier school
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Highly proficient financial analysis and modeling skills
- Proactive, results oriented, can-do attitude, team player
- Self-starter willing to work in an entrepreneurial, demanding, and fast-paced environment
- Significant level of maturity and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team
- Proficiency with S&P Capital IQ, Pitchbook, DealCloud CRM, and online data room platforms
- SIE and Series 79 and 63 licenses are required
- Must be available for the Los Angeles or Charlotte offices
- Must be able to work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day
