Job Summary
Lead due diligence, research, and analysis for growth equity raises, private placements, and recapitalizations across technology-driven businesses. Execute in-depth financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence while drafting transaction materials and building differentiated equity stories for private capital investors. Actively participate in client meetings, drafting sessions, and proposal development for founders, management teams, and the investor ecosystem including growth equity funds and family offices. Mentor Analysts and summer interns on work product quality and team culture within the newly established European Private Capital Markets team. Monitor industry drivers and business trends to target clients and facilitate deal processes. Ensure all activities comply with applicable rules, regulations, and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Prior investment banking experience
- 2+ years as an Investment Banking Associate
- Familiar with modelling cap tables including waterfall analyses of complex preference rights
- Detail oriented
- Strong analytical abilities
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent verbal skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to adapt to new tasks with little notice
- Ability to manage the expectations of senior bankers while working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective leadership and coaching skills
- Sound judgement
- Deep, sophisticated understanding of accounting and finance
- Comfort valuing high-growth, capital-intensive businesses
- Travel required: approximately 10% to 30%
