Job Summary
Build and understand complex financial models and perform complex financial analysis with minimal oversight. Create high-impact presentation materials using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word while maintaining information databases for Corporate & Investment Banking teams. Serve as support to Managing Directors by making internal and external presentations and interacting with all important constituencies during loan transaction execution. Manage priorities across multiple high-priority opportunities independently, ensuring adherence to risk, compliance, confidentiality, and information barrier requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5–7 years of total relevant investment banking M&A experience
- Prior Associate-level responsibilities
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) license
- Series 79 license
- Series 63 license
- Ability to maintain or obtain licenses within company policy
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint
- Expertise in reviewing complex financial models and valuation work product
- Ability to translate analytical and credit findings into actionable recommendations
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Capability to lead portions of meetings
- Ability to manage expectations
- Ability to deliver concise updates
- Deep familiarity with legal documentation
- Deep familiarity with diligence scopes
- Deep familiarity with transaction processes
- Ability to navigate issues and drive resolution
- Exceptional attention to detail

- Demonstrated ability to develop and mentor junior talent
- Fluency with financial databases and platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ)
