Job Summary

Build and understand complex financial models with minimal oversight and perform high-level analytical support for Corporate & Investment Banking deal teams. Create executive-ready presentation materials and manage oversight of the Analyst pool to ensure consistent data and reporting quality. Independently complete credit and corporate finance analysis while maintaining information databases and adhering to strict risk and compliance requirements. Interact with internal and external constituencies to support Managing Directors in executing loan transactions and closing deals. Manage competing priorities in a high-stress environment, coordinate across stakeholders, and coach Analysts on modeling and presentation best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in Investment Banking M&A
  • Proven track record of contributing to the origination and closing of complex financial transactions as part of a team
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and Series 63 licenses (or ability to obtain within company policy)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to build/review complex financial models and interpret results
  • Strong credit underwriting skills and sound corporate finance judgment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and oral) with client-ready executive presence
  • Project management capability: prioritize competing deliverables, manage work plans, and coordinate across internal and external stakeholders in a high-pressure environment
  • Developing expertise in one or more industries
  • Familiarity with market trends and key drivers
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within deal teams
  • Familiarity with financial databases and platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ)

Desired Qualifications

  • MBA typical but not required based on prior experience
