Job Summary
Prepare and analyze historical and projected financial information, build financial models, and support due diligence processes for M&A sell-side transactions. Coordinate transaction execution teams, prepare confidential information memoranda, and contribute to new business development initiatives including pitch materials. Maintain active communication with clients and professional advisors while mentoring and supervising Analysts to ensure high-quality analytical output. This Associate role offers direct client exposure and ownership of core workstreams within a leading global investment bank's Industrials team, ranked No. 1 for global M&A transactions in 2025.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant investment banking experience
- MBA graduates with prior finance-related experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting, valuation methodologies, and applied financial theory
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel proficiency
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within deal teams and interact with senior stakeholders
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and interested in building long-term client relationships
- Location: Minneapolis, MN (on-site)
- Work Authorization: H-1B transfers considered on a case-by-case basis
