Job Summary
Support investment banking team on execution of M&A transactions, including origination, opportunity evaluation, and deal support. Develop and maintain complex financial models for valuation analyses while conducting comprehensive company and industry research. Assist in preparation of confidential information memos, pitch materials, and presentations. Provide mentoring to junior associates with constructive feedback and career guidance. Occasional travel up to 20%. Must reside in or around the Twin Cities for a hybrid schedule of at least 4 days in the office. Requires minimum of 2 years of investment banking experience with preferred SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Major in business, finance, accounting, or economics
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in investment banking or related field
- Must reside in or around the Twin Cities and able to commute to the office
- Willing to maintain a hybrid schedule of at least 4 days in office
Desired Qualifications
- SIE Exam, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses preferred, or must attain within 90 days of hire date required
- Quantitative and data-based skills, including experience in valuation and financial modeling
- Experience providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Ability to learn quickly and ability to manage several projects at once
