Investment Banking Analyst 3 / Associate 1 MedTech M&A (Global Middle Market)

Job Summary
Build and maintain detailed financial models, including operating models, valuation analyses, merger models, and accretion/dilution analyses. Prepare client presentation materials, pitch books, confidential information memoranda, and transaction marketing documents. Conduct industry and company research across the MedTech ecosystem, including medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences tools, and digital health. Support execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, equity offerings, debt financings, and strategic advisory engagements. Perform financial and operational due diligence, coordinate diligence requests, and assist with data room management. Work directly with clients, private equity sponsors, attorneys, and other transaction participants throughout the deal process. Monitor public markets and M&A activity within the healthcare sector. Mentor analysts while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of investment banking experience
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting, valuation methodologies, and financial statement analysis
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills
- Exceptional PowerPoint and presentation development capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Biology, or a related field
- Must have closed M&A deals on their resume - involved on an M&A deal from start to finish
Desired Qualifications
- CPA, CFA, or advanced degree
- Life Sciences (Med Tech / Diagnostics / Biotech) experience
- Public company client experience (ECM / M&A)
- Experience advising companies in areas such as: Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Life Science Tools, Healthcare Technology, Digital Health, Surgical Technologies, Orthopedics, Cardiovascular Devices, Neuromodulation, Robotics, Laboratory Equipment, Medical Consumables
