Job Summary
Vice President in Leveraged Finance to act as the primary day-to-day client point of contact and lead banker on capital markets transactions. You will review and coordinate the analytic work of junior bankers to advance marketing/execution processes, refine marketing/execution materials for maximum client impact, oversee the creation of financial projection models, identify and manage all risks in deals, and liaise with lawyers, accountants, and counterparties. Requires 6+ years of front-office Leveraged Finance experience, ability to train junior bankers, strong communication and Excel/valuation skills, and the capacity to work under tight deadlines while independently managing projects and interacting with clients in a professional manner.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Leveraged Finance (front office)
- Experience training junior bankers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills (including Excel modeling and valuation)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to manage projects independently and take on responsibility
- Professional client interaction skills
- Understanding of financial, legal and reputational risks in large investment banks
