Job Summary
The Pre-MBA NMC Associate position involves analyzing and evaluating private equity and private credit investments, developing investment theses, and performing detailed financial analysis and modeling. Responsibilities include writing investment memos, presenting opportunities during investment committee discussions, building relationships with stakeholders, and monitoring portfolio performance. Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background, relevant work experience, and proficiency in financial analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, or mathematics
- Two-to-Four years of relevant experience in investment banking, equity research, private equity, or corporate development
- A broad knowledge of investments
- Understanding of economic forces affecting a wide range of industries
- Proficiency in accounting
