Job Summary
Monitor and assess performance of investment managers, communicate asset allocation strategies, and build credit surveillance processes. Identify key performance indicators and assess impacts to liquidity, asset liability management, and regulatory capital. Review portfolio risk metrics, develop strategies to maximize yield while controlling risk, and monitor portfolio metrics against asset allocation targets. Prepare investment reporting and insights for senior leadership, translating complex analytics into actionable recommendations for executive committees and the Board. Collaborate with FP&A, actuarial, treasury, and accounting teams to embed investment considerations into planning and pricing initiatives. Drive enhancements to investment analytics, modeling capabilities, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field of study
- 2-5 years of progressively responsible related experience in investment management, accounting, investment banking
- Advanced Excel/modeling capabilities
- Strong knowledge of liquid credit and private markets
- Ability to conduct ongoing independent research into market trends and activity
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and partner effectively across functions
- Ability to work efficiently both in a team setting, and independently with minimal supervision
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Well-organized, assertive, self-motivated and be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive approach, ability to think creatively about problems and use initiative to propose new, practical strategies/solutions
- Hybrid work arrangement: this role is based in our Miami office but flexible arrangements (including remote work) may be considered for the right candidate
Desired Qualifications
- Progress or achievement of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or MBA is a plus
