Job Summary
Investment Advisor (IA) within the front office team to formulate investment strategies and manage client portfolios for Private Banking clients. Responsibilities include delivering premium investment advisory aligned with clients’ targets and risk profiles, communicating in-house views to marketing teams, partnering with Relationship Managers to articulate investment ideas and create investment proposals, conducting portfolio reviews, collaborating with the CIO team to build robust portfolios across discretionary and advisory solutions, and participating in product idea generation while staying abreast of market offerings across cash trading, derivatives, funds, and alternatives. The role requires adherence to internal and external regulations and a practical ability to work across departments in a fast-paced environment to help clients grow assets and achieve long-term objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Banking
- Preferably CFA and CACS certified
- At least 3 years in financial industry in an investment advisory position
- Strong knowledge of products across asset classes
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across departments
- Experience with discretionary and advisory solutions
