Job Summary
Conduct industry analysis and search for investment opportunities while performing comprehensive case analysis. Develop financial models to assess project and company value, then participate in structuring transactions and negotiating terms. Coordinate due diligence with external consultants and prepare legally binding documentation. Prepare presentations, memoranda, and regular reports for stakeholders. Maintain direct contact with partners, consultants, and other stakeholders to build trusting relationships. Provide planning support and participate in relevant events.
Required Qualifications
- Matric [Grade 12]
- BCom Degree in Finance or related field
- Work experience from 3 to 6 years in an investment bank, private equity or venture capital fund, Big3 or Big4 (valuation, due diligence, strategy), investment divisions of financial and industrial groups
- Good knowledge of corporate finance
- Extensive experience in financial modeling (DCF)
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to solve non-standard problems
- Developed communication skills
- Focus on results
- Independent multitasking skills
