Job Summary
The Investment Analyst develops and maintains an oversight program for assigned lines of business, interpreting and distributing investment data, and reporting to the Investment Committee as a non-voting contributor. The role leaders the preparation of Committee agendas, creates analytical content, and ensures timely completion of action items. Responsibilities include monthly fund performance grid creation, quarterly scorecard analysis, coordinating due diligence on investment managers, understanding fund attribution and strategy changes, conducting benchmark and style analyses for portfolio diversification, monitoring industry fee levels including breakpoint pricing, ensuring compliance with Investment Policy Statements, validating rationales for fund inclusion or changes, and contributing to departmental projects and process improvements. The role also involves protecting confidential data, and is supported by strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills; effective communication and the ability to work independently in a flexible environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees including MSF or MBA a plus; progress toward a professional designation (CFA/CIMA/CFP) a plus
