Job Summary
Seasoned Consumer & Retail Investment Banking professional serving as primary day-to-day point of contact and lead banker on deals. Responsibilities include reviewing and coordinating analytic work of junior bankers, refining marketing/execution materials, overseeing creation of financial projection models, identifying and managing deal risks, liaising with lawyers/accountants/counterparties, and leading client negotiations and Q&A processes. Requires strong client relationship skills, high-level financial analysis, deal execution capabilities, and ability to manage multiple complex transactions across M&A, restructurings, loans, and capital raises.
Required Qualifications
- Prior work experience in an investment banking front office role
- Experience in training junior bankers
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills (including Excel modelling and valuation)
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions
- Adaptability and ability to manage projects independently
- Professional interaction with clients
- Understanding of financial, legal and reputational risks in large integrated investment banks
