Job Summary
Tenure-track Investigator position in the NIH/NINDS Surgical Neurology Branch focused on cerebrovascular disorders. The incumbent will be a neurosurgeon-scientist who provides clinical neurosurgical care at the NIH Clinical Center, while developing and directing a cutting-edge research program to inform clinical work. Primary appointment in SNB with a secondary appointment in the Stroke Branch; responsibilities include conducting basic, translational, and clinical research in cerebrovascular disease, participating in clinical studies and patient care, and collaboration with intramural research programs. Candidates must hold an M.D., D.O., or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have board eligibility or certification. Salary is commensurate with experience; full-time NIH employment with potential opportunities for additional clinical work. Appointees may be US citizens, Permanent Residents, or eligible non-US citizens for work authorization; background checks and drug testing are required. Required Qualifications
