Job Summary
Investigator (High Scarcity) - Vascular Neurosurgery at NIH/NINDS SNB. Tenure-track investigator position focused on cerebrovascular disorders, with primary appointment in the Surgical Neurology Branch and secondary appointment in the Stroke Branch. Responsibilities include developing and directing a cutting-edge research program that informs clinical care, participating in clinical studies and patient care at the NIH Clinical Center, training early career investigators, and collaborating across intramural branches. Required qualifications include an MD, DO, or MD/PhD with board eligibility or board certification; preferred candidates are active practicing neurosurgeons with a strong research portfolio. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience; full civil service benefits and potential for additional clinical work at outside academic medical centers are available.
