Job Summary
Investigator (High Scarcity) in Vascular Neurosurgery at NIH/NINDS SNB seeks a neurosurgeon-scientist focused on cerebrovascular disorders to lead a tenure-track program. Primary appointment in the Surgical Neurology Branch with a secondary appointment in the Stroke Branch; responsibilities include developing and directing an original, productive research program that informs clinical work, participating in clinical studies and patient care at the NIH Clinical Center, and training early-career investigators. Preferred candidates will be practicing neurosurgeons with required degrees and board eligibility/certification; salary is commensurate with experience and an NIH civil service package may be available.
