Job Summary
Investigator (High Scarcity) in Vascular Neurosurgery at NIH/NINDS SNB seeking a neurosurgeon-scientist to lead a cutting-edge cerebrovascular research program while providing clinical care at the NIH Clinical Center. Primary appointment in the Surgical Neurology Branch with a secondary appointment in the Stroke Branch; responsibilities include designing and directing an original, productive research program, participating in clinical studies, and training early career investigators. Candidate must hold an MD, DO, or MD/PhD (or equivalent) and have board eligibility or board certification; full-time NIH employment with competitive salary and civil service benefits. Appointees may be US citizens, permanent residents, or non-US citizens eligible for work authorization; background check and drug testing will be conducted. Required Qualifications
