Job Summary
Tenure-track Investigator (High Scarcity) in the Surgical Neurology Branch (SNB) of the NINDS/NIH seeking a neurosurgeon-scientist focused on cerebrovascular disorders. Primary appointment in SNB with a secondary appointment in the Stroke Branch. Responsibilities include developing and directing a cutting-edge research program that informs clinical work, providing clinical care at the NIH Clinical Center, participating in clinical studies, and collaborating across intramural programs. Preferred candidates are practicing neurosurgeons with active research on cerebrovascular biology/pathophysiology, holding an MD, DO, or MD/PhD, and board eligibility or certification; salary commensurate with experience; full-time NIH employee with potential for outside clinical duties.
