Job Summary

Tenure-track Investigator (High Scarcity) in Tumor Neurosurgery within NIH/NINDS SNB. The role combines outstanding neurosurgeon-scientist clinical care for patients at the NIH Clinical Center with leadership of a cutting-edge basic, translational, and clinical research program. Collaborate with neuro-oncology, neuropathology, and radiation oncology; participate in first-in-human and proof-of-concept clinical investigations, and contribute to an interdisciplinary intramural research environment. Located in Bethesda, MD, the position offers a competitive civil service package, opportunities for additional clinical work through outside academic medical centers, and salary commensurate with experience. Applicants must hold an MD, DO, or MD/PhD and have board eligibility or board certification; national citizenship or work authorization is required for employment.
