Job Summary
Tenure-track Investigator in the NIH/NINDS Surgical Neurology Branch focused on tumors of the central and peripheral nervous system. The incumbent will participate in clinical care at the NIH Clinical Center, develop and direct a cutting-edge research program, and collaborate with neuro-oncology, neuropathology, and radiation oncology researchers. Preferred candidates will have an active research program in the biology and pathophysiology of CNS/PNS tumors, be an active practicing neurosurgeon, and hold MD/DO or MD/PhD with board eligibility/certification. The position is located in Bethesda, MD, and offers opportunities for additional clinical work through outside academic medical centers. Salary is commensurate with experience; a full civil service benefits package may be available.
