Job Summary
Tenure-track Investigator (High Scarcity) in the Surgical Neurology Branch, NINDS/NIH, Bethesda, MD, seeking a neurosurgeon-scientist focused on tumors of the central and peripheral nervous system. The role combines clinical neurosurgery at the NIH Clinical Center with leading a cutting-edge research program in basic, translational, and clinical studies, including collaboration with neuro-oncology, neuropathology, and radiation oncology researchers. Required qualifications include an MD, DO, or MD/PhD and board eligibility or certification; candidates must be practicing neurosurgeons. The position is full-time with competitive salary and civil service benefits; opportunities for additional clinical work at outside academic centers may be available.
