Job Summary
Investigative tenure-track position in tumor neurosurgery within NIH/NINDS SNB. The investigator-scientist will develop and direct a cutting-edge research program focused on tumors of the central and peripheral nervous system, provide clinical care for NIH patients, participate in clinical studies, and collaborate with neuro-oncology, neuropathology, and radiation oncology researchers. Candidates must be active neurosurgeons with those degrees and board eligibility/certification; the role emphasizes basic/translational/clinical research, translational trials, immuno-oncology, advanced imaging, and mechanisms to inform clinical work. The position is located in Bethesda, MD, with salary commensurate with experience; opportunities for additional clinical work through outside academic medical centers may be available.
