Job Summary
Investigator (High Scarcity) - Tumor Neurosurgery at NIH/NINDS SNB seeks a neurosurgeon-scientist to lead an independent, cutting-edge research program while providing clinical care for patients at the NIH Clinical Center. The role requires an outstanding record in structuring impactful research on central and peripheral nervous system tumors, collaboration with neuro-oncology, neuropathology, and radiation oncology, and active neurosurgical practice. Candidates must hold an MD, DO, or MD/PhD (or equivalent) and have board eligibility or certification. This is a full-time, tenure-track position located in Bethesda, MD, with competitive salary and civil service benefits; opportunities for additional clinical work at outside academic centers may also be available.
