Job Summary

Investigator (High Scarcity) in Tumor Neurosurgery at NIH/NINDS SNB seeks an outstanding neurosurgeon-scientist to lead a cutting-edge research program while providing clinical neurosurgical care for patients at the NIH Clinical Center. The role requires an active practicing neurosurgeon with an interest in basic, translational, and clinical research focusing on central and peripheral nervous system tumors; collaboration with neuro-oncology, neuropathology, and radiation oncology; and the ability to develop and direct an original research program. Preferred candidates hold an MD, DO, or MD/PhD and have board eligibility or certification. The position is located in Bethesda, MD, and offers full-time NIH employment with competitive salary and civil service benefits.
