Job Summary

Investigator (High Scarcity) - Tumor Neurosurgery at NIH/NINDS SNB seeks a neurosurgeon-scientist to lead a cutting-edge research program while providing clinical care for patients at the NIH Clinical Center. The successful candidate will pursue a tenure-track research program focused on tumors of the central and peripheral nervous system, collaborate with neuro-oncology, neuropathology, and radiation oncology researchers, and maintain active neurosurgical practice. Preferred candidates will have an active research effort on the biology and pathophysiology of nervous system tumors, hold an MD/DO or MD/PhD, and have board eligibility or board certification. The role includes clinical studies participation, development of translational research, and opportunities for additional clinical work through outside academic medical centers.
