Job Summary
Experienced Field Investigator sought to conduct stationary and mobile surveillance, capture high-quality video and photographic evidence, and draft thorough, court-ready investigative reports for insurance-claims fraud detection. Responsibilities include preparing for surveillance, conducting field surveillance from a vehicle, drafting and finalizing case reports, and uploading footage. Work is independent, typically within a 2-hour drive of residence, with occasional longer trips and overnight stays; weekends and holidays are common workdays. Requires active Private Investigator license (or willingness to obtain), valid driver’s license, a reliable personal vehicle, surveillance equipment, and a laptop/cell phone with internet access. Required Qualifications
- Active Private Investigator license or willingness to obtain one (where required by state)
- Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance
- Personal vehicle in reliable condition
- Surveillance equipment (handheld camcorder with zoom, covert camera, stabilization equipment encouraged)
- Reliable laptop, cell phone, and internet service
- Experience with covert surveillance, capturing high-quality video footage, and preparing investigative reports
