Job Summary
Investigator, Digital Forensics role at Standard Bank Group focusing on responding to cyber security incidents and conducting in-depth digital forensic investigations to identify, preserve, analyse and report on digital evidence related to fraud, cybercrime, misconduct, insider threats and data breaches. Requires 5–7 years of relevant experience and formal degree in a related field, plus industry certifications. Role emphasizes collaboration with regulators and legal representatives and adherence to the Group Digital Forensic Investigation Framework. Location is Johannesburg, in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in digital Forensics, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 5–7 years' experience in Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Cyber Investigations, or a related discipline
- Experience conducting cloud forensic investigations, cyber incident response, mobile device forensics, and Microsoft 365 investigations
- Experience preparing evidential reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders, regulators, and legal representatives
