Job Summary
Investigations Practice Coach based in Fayetteville will provide coaching to newly hired Social Services Specialists and Supervisors/Experts assigned to an Investigations or Differential Response Unit of the Division of Children and Family Services. The role involves coaching focused on DCFS policy and internal procedures, coordinating statewide training and professional development, and collaborating with MidSouth training staff, DCFS, and university partners. The position requires extensive travel within Arkansas, is full-time and grant-funded, and reports to the Investigations Coaching Coordinator. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field, experience with child maltreatment assessments, curriculum development and training delivery, and experience with the Arkansas DCFS. Responsibilities include coaching staff, coordinating training activities, shadowing home visits and investigations, attending mandatory trainings, and maintaining training records. Skills emphasized include public speaking, interpersonal communication, ability to work independently, meeting deadlines, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. The role is located in Fayetteville with sponsorship not available and involves substantial travel and flexible scheduling, including nights and weekends.
