Job Summary
Oversee the Inventory Team and ensure the integrity of the company's perpetual inventory program by planning and conducting physical inventory, executing daily cycle counts, and maintaining ABC code assignments. Monitor WIP, error logs, and exception reports while verifying discrepancies in inventory balances to reconcile variances and identify root causes. Assign work to team members, conduct location audits, and assist the Yard Leader in identifying parts returned from production. Promote Lean initiatives, develop process improvements, and lead the team in compliance with safety protocols and core values. Participate in monthly end inventory counts and division metrics reporting as required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license desired with clean driving record
- 1-3 years of leadership experience
- 1-3 years of Inventory Control Experience
- Some Saturdays will be mandatory
- Must be able to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
- Must be able to talk and hear
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, balance, reach, handle, and climb all day
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to work around moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, and conveyer roller lines
- Must be able to work in outside weather conditions in all seasons
- Must be able to tolerate moderate to loud noise levels
- Must be able to be exposed to dust, fumes, gases, noise, heat, cold, and wet work
- Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as work gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, cut resistant sleeves, and seasonal gear
- Must be able to wear steel toed shoes or boots with metatarsal guards
- Must comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience
- At least 1 year of system analyzing experience
- Excel proficiency
