Job Summary
Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, picking, packing, and inventory management for controlled substances. Direct staff performance, ensure safety compliance, and lead cycle counts to maintain accuracy. Monitor workflow efficiency, analyze data for process improvements, and resolve customer delivery issues. Maintain detailed records of all inventory movements and shipments. This role supports Cencora's MWI Animal Health business, a leader in veterinary and livestock production solutions. Full-time onsite position in Grand Prairie, TX, with flexibility for weekend on-call rotation and physical inventory tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Minimum of two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience
- Ability to communicate effectively as a leader, both orally and in writing
- Good decision-making skills
- Basic mathematical skills
- Good analytical skills
- Good leadership/coaching skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of computers to operate effectively with Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with distribution center associates
- Foster teamwork
- Willingness to work extended hours
- Willingness to take part in weekend on-call rotation, as needed
- Willingness to participate in physical inventory if scheduled
- May require proficiency to operate a reach truck
