Job Summary
Inventory Specialist handles daily supply assessment and replenishment for nursing and procedural units, maintains/rotates stock, checks expiration dates, processes requisitions and pick tickets, conducts cycle counts, and manages shipping/receiving including outbound freight and inter-transportation. Requires coordinating with customers and suppliers, using Lawson and mobile supply chain tools, and communicating effectively in English within a health-care environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- 1 year of experience in Distribution Center or Consolidated Services Center in Health Care environment highly preferred
- 2-5 years' experience in Inventory Management is required
- Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written English
- Possess technical skills to operate pc and hand-held devices
- Possess skills to interact with clinicians and other hospital personnel
- Lawson & Mobile Supply Chain, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Shared drive (F:\Shr_data\MM)
- Covid and flu vaccination completed or approved exemption.
