Inventory Specialist

Job Summary
Analyze data to assess customer needs and trends, developing store-specific supply and demand forecasts. Create distribution plans based on seasonal needs and sell-through rates, then process inventory allocations to maximize sales potential. Prepare reports on seasonal inventory flows and initiate requisitions or markdowns to maintain merchandise flow. Monitor store-level sell-through, evaluate back stock requirements, and implement exit strategies with Category Management. Conduct post-mortem evaluations of seasonal activities to guide assortment decisions and provide feedback to Operations teams.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, or Finance
- Experience in inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment
- Solid grasp of inventory management and supply chain processes and systems
- Proven experience in an analytic capacity with a focus on identifying insights and presenting recommendation
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office with specific emphasis on Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills with a high attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, planning and prioritizing skills
- Extended work hours required from time to time
- Travel to stores will be required on an as-needed basis
