Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day receiving and storage of company equipment and materials while maintaining general awareness of inbound/outbound freight and on-hand supplies. Critically analyze existing shipping, receiving, and logistics processes to make detailed recommendations on process improvements and efficiencies for immediate implementation. Communicate directly with engineers and purchasing to alert end users of time-critical deliveries and proactively notify the team of low stock counts for regular materials. This role supports the mission of increasing tunneling speed and decreasing costs through optimized inventory management.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with inventory systems
- Position may require extended hours and weekend work
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating a forklift
- Experience working in a high-volume production environment
- Attention to detail on large part kitting processes
