Job Summary
SpaceX Space, Starlink inventory role focusing on putting away inbound materials, picking for production and orders, and ensuring inventory accuracy. Responsibilities include receiving and storing raw materials, organizing parts in bins and racks, adhering to material handling procedures, performing picking and kitting for kits, inspecting incoming materials, applying verification and traceability markings to serialized parts, complying with SOPs, monitoring shelf-life and FIFO stock rotation, supporting organizational metrics, maintaining housekeeping, and conducting cycle counts. Preferred experience includes 3+ years in warehouse inventory control, forklift operation, ERP experience (SAP/Oracle), and a degree in logistics or supply chain management. Compensation ranges by level, with benefits including health, retirement plans, paid leave, and company shuttle service to SpaceX locations in Washington state. ITAR compliance and U.S. employment eligibility required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ years of inventory control experience
- Experience operate a forklift and other related inventory equipment
- Experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic fields
- ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain management
Additional Requirements
- ITAR compliance: U.S. citizen or national, or permanent resident, or eligible by visa status as specified
- Must be available for 1st or 2nd shift with overtime/weekends as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted
- Open in an open-aired environment, temperature-uncontrolled
- Washington State employment regulations compliance
